Kids Club Connection Scholarships Available
The congregation at Central United Methodist Church is committed to supporting young families and strengthening our church community by helping make quality child care more affordable while ensuring Central UMC continues to thrive for generations to come. Through this partnership with Central Child Care, the church will provide 100% of the child care tuition for one (1) child per eligible family.
The program is designed to provide meaningful financial support to young families while creating opportunities for spiritual growth, community involvement, and long-term connection with Central UMC. Learn more about terms and requirements below.
Program Availability
- The program is limited to five (5) families at any given time.
- Participation is offered on a first-come, first-approved basis, subject to available openings.
- Once all five positions are filled, additional interested families may be placed on a waiting list.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Child Care Partnership Program, families must:
- Have at least one child enrolled at Central Child Care in Evansville, Indiana.
- Attend worship services at Central United Methodist Church a minimum of three (3) times each month.
- Maintain regular participation in the life of the church throughout the duration of the program (ie. volunteer for events, greet the congregation prior to services, collect offerings, sing in the Central Church choir, attend meetings, etc.
Eligible families will receive:
- 100% payment of tuition for one (1) child enrolled at Central Child Care.
Attendance Verification
Church attendance will be tracked monthly through a check-in system.
Program Expectations
This initiative is intended to build lasting relationships between families and the church. Participating families are encouraged to:
- Attend weekly worship services.
- Become involved in church fellowship opportunities.
- Participate in children’s, youth, and family ministry events when possible.
- Build meaningful relationships within the church community.
Program Administration
Central United Methodist Church reserves the right to:
- Verify eligibility and attendance.
- Review participation on an ongoing basis.
- Modify or discontinue the program as funding or ministry priorities require.
